CRMC Welcomes UAB Cardiologist Harish Doppalapudi, MD to the Medical Staff

Harish Doppalapudi, M.D., a Birmingham cardiologist of 9 years, is now practicing Cardiac Electrophysiology at Cullman Regional Medical Center in the CRMC/UAB Cardiology Clinic. A native of Guntur, India, Dr. Doppalapudi first moved to Alabama in February of 2000 for medical residency training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).      

Dr. Doppalapudi is board certified in Internal Medicine and in the subspecialties of Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at UAB, where he has received Education Excellence Awards in 2010 & 2011 as well as the 2011 Argus Award for Best Lecturer for Medical Students and the 2011 Cecil Coghlan Award for Best Teacher for fellows in the Cardiovascular Division.  

Dr. Doppalapudi has joined the CRMC/UAB Cardiovascular Clinic Team with UAB Interventional Cardiologist Silvio Papapietro, MD and UAB Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist Jose Osorio, MD located in Cullman Regional Medical Center’s Main Hospital. To schedule an appointment, call (256) 737-2095.
