CRMC Designated As a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama has designated Cullman Regional Medical Center as a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

“Blue Distinction, in coordination with our JointsFirst program, is creating more streamlined care for our joint replacement patients,” Dr. Dave Dueland, Chief of Orthopedics at CRMC commented. “With CRMC performing 300-400 total joints annually, we have to maintain the highest standard of care and combine it with evidence-based practice.”

le care to patients through the American Heart Association /American Stroke Association's Get With The Guidelines® program. CRMC and 789 other hospitals are featured in a special advertisement in the "America's Best Hospitals" issue of US News & World Report (August issue) to commemorate their receipt of the Get With The Guidelines Gold & Gold Plus Performance Achievement Awards.
