CRMC Support Groups
Cullman Regional Medical Center is proud to offer the following support programs to assist people struggling with various ailments. Each group traditionally meets on the same time and day of the week each month; however, occasionally scheduling conflicts occur and those meeting dates/times may have to be changed. We encourage you to contact the group coordinator to confirm the date/time of the meeting prior to coming for the first time or you can click here

Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group
Find meaningful advice and support from a community of your fellow caregivers. This group meets the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Ave Maria Room located in CRMC’s Community Education Center in POB II. Contact coordinator Toni Geddings at (256) 737-2643 or via e-mail

Adult Diabetes Support Group
Anyone interested in learning more about Adult Diabetes is invited to attend this meeting. This group traditionally meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 6 pm in the Ave Maria Room in the CRMC Community Education Center in POB II. Bosom Buddies Support Group
This group meets the third Monday of each month at 6 pm in the Ave Maria Room in CRMC's Community Education Center in POB II. This group offers support to individuals and those affected by breast cancer. Contact coordinator Mary Dyer at (256) 734-8729.
Breastfeeding Support Group
This group traditionally meets the first Tuesday of each month at 9 am until 11 am in CRMC’s Community Education Center in POB II. This support group is designed for mothers and their babies who are currently breastfeeding. Please join us for questions and success stories. CPAP Support Group
CPAP meetings are held twice yearly in CRMC's Community Education Center in POB II and supports those who are on Continuous Positive Airway Pressure Treatment. This group is open to anyone who would be interested in learning more about the treatment of Apnea. Lap Band® Support Program
Provide or receive support before or after your lap-band® procedure with others going through the same journey. This support group meets quarterly on Saturdays from 2-4 pm in CRMC’s Community Education Center in Professional Office Building II. Look Good/Feel Better Program
This support group, sponsored by American Cancer Society and CRMC, meets bi-monthly at the Cullman Oncology Center from 10 am until noon the second Monday of each month. This free service teaches oncology patients hands-on cosmetic techniques to help them cope with appearance-related side effects from chemotherapy and radiation treatments, provided by certified/trained cosmetologists. This is a non-medical service that does not promote any cosmetic product line. Ostomy Support Group
This group offers mutual aid and support for people who are learning to live with or care for someone with an ostomy. This group meets the fourth Monday of each month from noon-1 pm in the CRMC Community Education Center located in POB II. For additional information contact coordinator Debbie Burgess via e-mail

Prostate Cancer Support Group
This group is for patients and anyone they would like to include with the discussion. The group meets on an as needed basis at 5:30 pm in the CRMC Community Education Center located in POB II.
